Introducing the P6 - a 600 LED Lumen WXGA (1280x800) Mini Projector

AAXA Technologies is pleased to announce the release of the P6 Pico Projector – a 600 LED Lumen WXGA (1280x800) mini projector. The P6 features a brilliant 600 LED Lumen optical engine powered by Texas Instrument’s Digital-Light-Processing (DLP) technology. At just 5” x 4.8” x 1.7”, the P6 is a truly portable micro projector with an 80 minute Lithium Ion battery (built in), a powerful 2 watt speaker, and Osram’s revolutionary 30,000 hour solid-state LED technology that can deliver up to 140” images (in dark areas).

The Mobile Revolution

A built-in media processor allows the P6 mobile projector to share pictures and video - anytime, anywhere. With its 80 minute battery and powerful 2-watt speaker, the P6 can deliver digital presentations in a single package – without the need for cords, adapters, or additional devices. Additional features include multiple input options such as a USB port, micro TF Card slot, digital video (HDMI) and composite video inputs, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a powerful 2-watt speaker. All of this is controlled by a mini infrared remote control or onboard keypad.

High Performance Optical Engine

The P6 is the perfect blend of optical size and efficiency. At the heart of the P6 is a high performance Texas Instruments DLP imager mated to an optical system that achieves optical efficiencies of greater than 30% compared to traditional UHP projectors, while maintaining a small 5” x 4.8” x1.7” form factor. This enables the P6 to be the perfect pico projector – one that is powerful enough to handle business presentations while small enough to fit comfortably in a briefcase or purse.

30,000 Hour LEDs

Powering this high-efficiency optical engine is Osram’s revolutionary solid-state light-source featuring separate Red, Green, and Blue light-emitting-diodes (LEDs). Optical engines featuring individual LEDs are able to deliver rich, vibrant colors while offering over 30,000 hours of operating life. This lifespan means the P6 can operate for more than 10 years if used 8 hours a day, every day and lasts typically 6-10x longer than traditional lamp-based projectors. Furthermore, solid-state LEDs are environmentally friendly compared to the traditional mercury lamp based projectors that require bulb changes every 3000-5000 hours.

High power Lithium Ion Battery

The P6 can deliver true anytime, anywhere projection with its premium 14-watt lithium ion battery that allows the P6 to operate truly cordless for up to 80 minutes on a single charge (eco mode only).

Powerful 2-Watt Speaker

The AAXA P6 Pico projector incorporates a high performance 2-watt speaker system borrowed from its much larger cousin, the AAXA M6. The P6 speaker features a broad harmonic range and can deliver excellent audio playback for its size.

Multiple Inputs

The P6 Pico Projector features an onboard media player capable of directly playing videos, pictures, and music through a USB stick or micro TF card. With an onboard speaker and battery, the P6 is a true all-in-one entertainment projector. Additional connectivity features includes HDMI compatibility, VGA connector (Dsub), AV port, and 3.5mm headphone port.
